OK, dumb Unix question:

Why does

chmod g+s ./foo2

work, but

chmod 2777 ./foo2

doesn't? I'm not remembering my Unix 101 stuff here.

[Clarification: this is sh / ksh on Solaris. This works as I expected on Darwin / MacOS X.]
