Rumors are bouncing around the web today about a new digital SLR from Canon:
- Called the 5D
- 13MP full frame sensor
- Around $3500
- Relatively slow (~3 fps)
I'd be really tempted, should this be true. The "leaked" manual that has been floating around seems like a fake to me.

It's the slow frames per second rate that would make me pause. It makes a difference in real-world situations. What else is there about this one that makes it compelling to you?

I leave my camera on continuous drive, and I rarely need more than three frames per second. I'm hard pressed to think of someone other than a sports photographer really needing that speed.
