"Justice Jones ordered Mr. Toussaint and two other union officials to appear in his courtroom at 11 a.m. Thursday, saying their presence is required because of the possibility that he will sentence one or more of the three to jail."

I think it would be better to schedule meetings all around town for Mr. Toussaint, and force him to get to all of them without hiring a towncar. Either that, or make him walk from the Brooklyn Bridge to Midtown with an "I'm the ass that called the strike" sign on his back.
