Zoinks. Rumors are bouncing around concerning Mamiya's imminent departure from the photo business.
Further evidence that, if you are interested in photography, you have to be interested in making images; being tied to a specific tool or technology is dangerous.
Things change. Things fall apart.

This is like the Pope saying - "I'm not sure I beleive in what the catholic church has to say. Hmm, I think I might just have a peek at the Koran and see what's going on over there."

I don't know what to think about that. The medium format business is a tough one to be in right now. And Mamiya was not doing a great job providing digital options.
