Binding

JSR 295 has been submitted, covering data binding between Java classes and Swing UI components. Scott Violet gives a bit of an overview.

This is quite important, at least to those of us who write fat-client, Java-based software. A comprehensive data binding framework would make development tools much, much better. I have to do some thinking about the approach suggested in this JSR.
