I think it's sad...
Very very sad. The majority of the population is getting fatter and super models are getting skinnier.
And I've been through that whole horror movie experience of trying on bathing suits. I just have a good excuse for not showing skin: "my mom had skin cancer - she was fair skin blue eyes like me. I don't want to be a carbon copy of her chemo story". It's less brutal than saying: I look like a cow in a bikini and there is no way I can ever look as thin as those alien freaks so bugg off.
but that's just me ;-)
