Did everyone know that Amazon has a vinyl store? Lately I've been thinking about getting a turntable.

The two employees in the Mailboxes etc. store made it very clear that the giant rubber band ball is not for sale, at any price. With very little mirth.

On an A train in Brooklyn. Across from a woman, leg in a cast, who pulls a shirt from her bag and picks sequins off of it one by one.

Plug

I just kicked the plug out of my workstation.

Odd

There is a guy sitting across from me wearing an outfit so absurd, it must be a joke: a button down shirt and two sweaters, one with long sleeves and the other with short sleeves.

He wears this outfit twice a week.

Stink

The guy standing behind me smells terrible. He took off his coat and his odor hit me like a stinky fist.

Sick

Everyone around me is coughing and sneezing.
